How to Remove Water Stains From Wood Furniture
I try to make a weekly stop at the local Habitat for Humanity ReStore to see what kind of furniture has been dropped off over the weekend. My luckiest most recent find was a mid-century modern dresser I bought for $70 that's worth at least $2000 if restored. Unfortunately, it was in sad shape. I don't plan on reselling it, but I wanted to at least find a way to erase the years of neglect without having to strip the finish. The dresser had several dark water stains on the top and on the front of the drawers. I'm guessing someone sat potted plants on top of it. After using it in our guest room, it had acquired another mysterious white water stain.
Now, the problem is, I might be bringing home more furniture that I otherwise would overlook. What are the tricks you use to get rid of water stains? Let me know in the comments. :)

I use what everybody already has in the home. No need to buy anything special.

I also use white toothpaste to clean silver, jewelry, ceramic figurines, porcelain figurines, copper, brass, sneakers, leather and faux leather shoes, etc. I sell on Ebay. I need one cleaning product for everything.
