Repurposing A Table Leg

I can't resist a curvy table leg! Even when said leg is alone in a trash pile! I knew I could find a good use for this beauty so I rescued and it!
I used my miter saw to cut the leg. Use caution when cutting round objects. They can jump around on ya :) It's nice to have an extra pair of hands around for this part!
See the potential yet?
I painted a few layers of paint, distressed them up real good and gave them a little shimmer.
Then totally fell in love!
I ended up using one half as a candle holder and one to display my beloved vintage key organizer.
