Make your own World Globe with a thrift store find.
I have been admiring all of the Globe decor I've seen lately but I have not admired the cost and that is the beauty of this DIY.
I used thrift store items as the base for my own DIY Globe.
Do you have any old light globes lying around your house? You know the ones that are usually attacked to ceiling fans. If you do you have the base for a DIY Globe.
This is a simple project to make with only a few supplies needed. You'll be using Mod Podge {I chose a matte vintage finish}, a paint brush, sharp scissors {this is important to cut out your polyconic map}, gold Sharpie pen, and polyconic map {available for download at the link provided below}.
I displayed my finished DIY Globe on top of a vintage stamp holder but it also looks great as a stand alone orb. Either way it's a great DIY Globe for minimal cost with a vintage end result look.
