I gathered my materials. I have a wood canvas....
...wood letters (l-o-v-e) and wood hearts.
I painted the hearts red.
I painted the letters red.
I painted the canvas a combination of gray and white.
I wiped off the excess.
I used red embroidery floss and wrapped it around the wood hearts.
I secured it with hot glue - keeping all of the glue on the back of the heart.
I also added a white glue, which helps hold the embroidery floss in place, but also attaches it to the wood canvas.
I added hot glue, to the back of the hearts as well, to hold it in place, while the other glue dries. I also glued on the love letters.
That's it!
