Stenciled Dresser Makeover
If you have a dresser that needs a makeover, consider using stencils to transform it into a unique statement piece. I combined weathered gray stain, white wash, and a herringbone stencil to achieve a cool distressed dresser that could be used in any room.
Check out the video or my blog for the full tutorial.
I've been wanting to try a stenciled furniture project for a while. When I came across this ugly guy at the thrift store, I decided it was time to initiate project stencil.
I used a herringbone stencil and white paint on the drawer fronts. I think the white contrasts nicely with the weathered gray wood stain.
There is room for improvement with my stenciling skills, but I think it turned out pretty cool. I'm definitely going to keep playing around with the stencils.

I think your stencilling came out perfectly imperfect on this piece; it really adds to the effect. Love it!
