Craft Room Makeover - Extreme Upcycling - Craft Project Organizer
Are you like me? If you are then you might have multiple craft projects spread out all over your craft room and maybe even other parts of the house. Well as part of my craft room make over I am trying to put an end to all this clutter. There seems to be a lot of ideas out there on how to organize craft supplies but not so many ideas on how to organize craft projects as we are working on them. So I decided to devise my own system out of cardboard boxes and tin cans.
It's not a perfect system as I am sure that I will run into projects that are too big for my project boxes but these boxes have already made a huge dent in my messy room.
To start this project I decided to dedicate one half of a storage cabinet. I collected a bunch of boxes and tin cans to make the storage containers as well as the shelves.
Once I had collected my materials, I measured the cabinet space and cut some pieces of cardboard to make the shelves and box containers and laid out the design.
The final step was to make it look better and to add a labeling system. So I used some paint, tape, tin can pieces, thumbtacks and magnets to finish off my project storage boxes.
