Enjoy these beautiful plant stands… well you can make them too!! They are a very easy to build DIY project. If you have reclaimed wood that’s great! Nothing better than giving good wood a second life! 

MATERIALS YOU NEED: (for one plant stand)

10 qty - 2x6 cut to equal length (this is the height of your plant stand) 36” in the video

4 qty – 2x4 cut to 13 inches

4 qty – 2x4 cut to 7.5 inches

3 qty – 2x6 cut to 17.75 inches (this is the top/cap – use same wood as side)

4 qty – 3x3 Treated ¾ plywood for feet

2 ½ & 3 1/8 Construction Screws – I used GRK R4 https://www.grkfasteners.com/products/r4-multi-purpose-screw

3 1/8 Trim Screws – also GRK https://www.grkfasteners.com/products/fin-trim-finishing-trim-head-screw 

MINIMUM TOOLS NEEDED:

Tape Measure

Some type of saw to cut wood… yes power tools go faster, but not required.

Screwdriver… again power drivers work great!

Scrap piece of 2x4 for measuring guide

ASSEMBLY:

Cut all materials to length. Make the four side panels. Make the top/cap. Screw side panels together. Install top/cap. Attach feet to the bottom. Watch the video again to see step by step assembly. Enjoy!

  • 2x4 wood various lengths  (Scrap from framing cut offs)
  • Srews  (Hardware Store)
