I use aqua as my primary and have small pops of orange. Since gray is a neutral I think any color(s) you enjoy would work well. I like soothing colors such as aqua but also enjoy pops of bright colors.

I keep a small box of instant mashed potatoes on hand and sprinkle a few spoonfuls where i think they travel. I do this at night since most are nocturnal. After they eat, the flakes expand in the stomach and well they die.
NOTE: If you have pets keep these flakes out of their reach.
Another idea is to pour Pinesol on the mound – they move right out.
