Hi Yvonne. You could spray paint them and then stencil them with a cute patters. It's a lot of fun to stencil something. I also like Mogie's idea of wrapping them in rope. Cotton clothesline would look nice. Good luck Yvonne. Stay well.

Decoupage is always a good option. You could also cover them in decorative paper.
Hello. Storage boxes can be painted or covered with a decorative paper. Many times you can combine different styles of boxes and cohesively unite them by painting them the same color.
I think if you want it in the parent's room, you should cut holes for handles, use hot glue to cover it with rope, and then put some gray, brown, or white wrapping paper glued in the inside. If it is in a kids room, you could get different colored wrapping paper, glue it on the outside, pick out two hand held rubber animals, and glue them on the sides for handles, and you could put some other kind of fun colored paper on the inside. If you want one last place like the kitchen or the living area, you could cover the outside with some fluffy or soft textured fabric, cut holes for handles, and then cover the inside with some fun colored paper! I hope this could help you!
Wrap it in nice wrapping paper
Hi! You could apply contact paper or mod Podge fabric. Good luck and stay safe!
I used decorative duct tape. You can also use contact paper. Vinyl decals. Paint. Decoupage. Material. Wallpaper.
Only your imagination limits the ways in which you can decorate cardboard boxes. You can spray paint them, brush paint them, make designs on them using masking tape to color block them. You can apply fabric from cotton to upholstery fabric with a good adhesive spray or plain old white glue. You can add braid or buttons and decorae to your hears's content. You can apply gift wrap, contct paper, burlap, tissue paper, etc. I often use a decorated cardboard box istead of wrapping a gift. That way the recipient actually gets two gifts! Doing this can actually become addictive...but FUN! You can make labels, use rope. chains, or belt pieces for handles, or even add drawer pulls or stenciled labels. Hope you enjoy and one box leads to yet another idea! I've even covered a box with leather from an old coat!
These are adorable!

DIY Storage Boxes From Up-cycled Cardboard Boxes
Hi Yvonne. I really like to make designs with stencils. I use a stencil brush and take about 50% of the paint off by tapping the brush into a paper towel. You can even use a couple different colors to create depth. You can practice on a piece of cardboard until you're comfortable with it. Good luck Yvonne.
