Round Sifter Shelves
We went on a mini vacation a few weeks ago, and I knew that I wanted to find something cool to bring home for a project. We chanced upon a cute variety store, and I purchased two of these sifters.
I have seen some beautiful shelves made with these, and I wanted to do the same. I was a bit worried about them being too heavy, and not being able to hold up anything in them, but more on that later.
I picked these up from the hardware store. They were the biggest ones there, but still not very big. Hopefully they'll do the trick
I then nailed one to each back of the sifters. Those tiny nails are so small it was not easy to do!
I then chose a spot in our bedroom to hang them. I think they look great there!
I then grabbed these floral branches I had at home. They are perfect for a finishing touch!
Then, using wire cutters, I snipped off a handful of branches.
About this much.
I then laid the flower branches into the shelves no glue necessary. It looks so pretty!
This is what they look like all finished. I really love the subtle farmhouse look. Being that I am uncertain how string they are, for now I will just use them for show. I may decide later down the line to swap out the florals for something else. But I love love love them as they are!
I hope you liked this idea, and give something similar a try too!

Where do u find the wooden sifters at
Very cute! But do they really need the hangers? Can't they just hang on a nail?
