Decorating for spring is always one of my favorite times of the year. This year I wanted to try something different and decorate some Easter eggs. I had everything on hand for the project so it was inexpensive and one I could do quick. you can use any plastic eggs you want and any type of paper. I chose an old book because i love using old books when decorating. A really fun adn easy project that anyone can do even the kiddos!

Get Eggs

I bought these white plastic eggs on Amazon to paint but used some for this project as well. Any plastic egg will work.

Get Paper

I used an old book but you can use any type of paper you want! Gift wrap or scrap booking paper would work great.

Add Paper

Put a thin layer of modge podge down (or mix 1 cup glue with 1/3 cup water) and start adding on the paper. Place the paper however you want. I ripped the paper for the added texture.

Add Another Layer of Modge Podge

Once the paper is on how you like it add another thin layer of modge podge. You don't need very much just make sure it's all the wayt around.

Let Dry

Make sure to the the modge podge dry completely if not it gets sticky and will peel off. That's it!

Use to Decorate With

I loved adding them to my spring decor and can't wait to use them again next year!
