Alcohol Ink Resin Coasters Easy DIY
If you are looking for alcohol ink projects, you are in the right place! Look at these easy alcohol ink resin coasters! Don’t you just love the colors? It reminds me of summer and the beach…my favorite place ever! This is such an easy resin craft tutorial! It will add a splash of color to your home decor! It will save your tables from those nasty water rings! And they just make you happy…okay…maybe they only make me happy…but I think if you give them a chance, they could make you happy too! I dusted my mold with pigment powder.
I mixed my fast curing resin, which cures white or close to white. I did this because it is a time saver. You could do the clear resin and add white pigment for the same result, it just takes a little longer.I a
Once cured, I added dots of white alcohol ink.
Then I started adding the colors.
The alcohol inks are so vibrant! I used the white to help move it around and tone down the colors.
I used straw to blow the colors around on this one.
I have limited picture space here. I did two more versions and you can see how I did those over on my blog post.
Here they are after the alcohol inks have dried.
I added a layer of resin over all of them.
I popped the bubbles with my lighter.
Here they are!
So pretty! Be sure to give them a try and coordinate the colors to go with your home decor!
