Craft this Dollar Tree pumpkin wreath to decorate your front door for fall. This easy DIY Dollar Tree fall wreath requires minimal supplies and costs just a few dollars to make. So it’s the perfect Dollar Tree wreath idea for your fall decor if you’re on a tight budget.

Life is kind of crazy right now. Nothing is certain. And at times like this you may find that you’re cutting back more on expenses to save for an uncertain future. Whether you’re saving more or are simply on a tight budget, you can still decorate for fall. After all, fresh new fall decor doesn’t have to be expensive. The Dollar Tree is a great place to shop for craft supplies. Not only is there always an amazing selection of materials to choose from for your fall decorating ideas and crafts, everything is quite literally $1. (This includes that Halloween candy you may be stocking up on right now!)

I recently shared my tutorial for making a  Halloween skull wreath using Dollar Tree supplies and materials. This Dollar Tree fall wreath DIY also uses Dollar Tree supplies. However, as it requires fewer materials, it costs less than $5 to make. So it’s both a beautiful and affordable way to decorate your front door with seasonal fall decor.

Here’s how to make your own Dollar Tree fall wreath as an inexpensive fall decor idea for your front door. Simply head out to your local Dollar Tree to find everything you need to decorate your home for fall.

You'll need a metal pumpkin frame, faux leaf garland, burlap ribbon and gold spray paint for this Dollar Tree fall wreath DIY. You'll also need a pair of scissors to cut the ribbon.

Begin by applying two coats of gold spray paint to the pumpkin wreath form. Allow each coat of gold paint to dry well on between applications. (Alternately, you can use another color of your choice to fit your existing home decor.)

Now cut a length of burlap ribbon, large enough to make a bow with a long bow tail. Wrap the burlap ribbon around the pumpkin stem. Then tie it into a bow, allowing some of the ribbon to trail down.

Next, stuff the leaf garland inside of the wire pumpkin wreath form. You can add a few drops of hot glue to help secure the garland inside, if needed. However, the leaf garland should stay in place without any additional materials to secure it in place.

Hang the wire pumpkin on a wall. Then adjust the leaves as needed to fill out the design for your DIY Dollar Tree fall wreath. That’s it!
