Inexpensive decorations?
Any ideas for a simple Christmas door decoration that I won't mind being stolen? My decorations were all stolen last year and I had put a lot of time and money into them. I guess it's a compliment since none of my neighbors lost their stuff 🙂 but I still want to decorate with something. Maybe even with something I could keep replacing if necessary. Might as well make a game of it.

Perhaps begin with a classic long green cedar, pine or other fragrant swag dressed with a simple ribbon on your front door. May not hurt so much if taken and is always tasteful.
Sorry to hear about your decorations being stolen. Check out your local Dollar store for replacement decorations. There are some really great youtube videos of people taking the dollar items and making them into other decorations. Atleast if someone takes it, the cost won't be that great. Sad way to think isn't it but what can we do? Hope you have a security camera to record the thieves.
go with classic paper chains and cut snowflakes. Cheap and easy.
Like Marie mentioned, I use $ store decorations outside. The stores get nicer stuff every year. I was shocked a few years ago, when I saw the price of one plastic ornament was $10+ at our usual stop ! I told DH to hold off and we went to the $ store. Not only did they have the SAME ornament, but I could get an entire sleeve (5 or 6) of slightly smaller ones for $2.50! I always check there first now.
Paper chains or cut branches from your yard
Ah that sucks. I understand, we have that problem in our area too. Really the only true solution is to put things up high, keep them indoors placed in windows, lock them to something, or resolve yourself to knowing you're talented and everyone wants a piece that you'll keep replacing.
Oh no I'm sorry you lost your wreath! Here are some ideas from my DIY blog for decorations that do not cost a lot to make. https://www.homeroad.net/search?q=wreath+ideas
Hi! I'm sorry that grinch stole your Christmas decorations! I often use dollar store decorations in my yard. Then, if they are damaged or stolen, it isn't a great loss. Sad that people steal, instead of creating their own! You could also try motion sensor lights. Stay safe.
