what can I do with spent religious candles glasses? It seems such a waste to toss them.

Add fairy lights, the kind with a battery pack. I got some at the Dollar store.
Could you dip them in paint or paint a stencil design on them and use them for storage? Even small things from a desk?
Could you fill them with some pebbles or sand and put succulents in them or air plants?
Put them in the freezer to pop out the extra candle wax and give them a good cleaning. They can be reused as vases or storage.
very good, thank you.
After getting the old wax out you make new candles in them!
The outside can probably come off. Try soaking them first in very hot water and use a green scrubbie. If not Acetone, the kind you buy in Home Depot will take off the outside decoration. Then you can reuse for candles, or vases. You could make some for Christmas as well as Valentines Day or Easter with different color spray paints and using painters tape different decorations.

Hello. They might be covered with decorative scrapbook paper and used for vases or reused as candles refilled with wax and a wick.

I f you could cut the bottom off them so you have no top or bottom, then you could use them to make wind chimes... Or you could simple add new wax and wicks and have very nice candles again..
Hi Harold. I'm Cindy. You could start by removing any old wax. Then clean them well. Put a flameless candle in them and put one in each window of your house at Christmas time. Good luck Harold and Happy New Year.
a thought, thanks
You can clean them out and reuse as vases, or here are some more ideas: Home and Garden DIY Ideas | Hometalk
