If all else fails you can always take a part the trap and clean it out like this:

Try a plunger first. 1/2 container of salt and hot water. Baking soda and vinegar. Pour baking soda down the drain. Then pour some vinegar. Immediately cover the drain with a cloth and press down. The pressure of the faoming will push the clog through. If a double sink cover both drains since they are connected together.

The Natural Drain Cleaner for Your Clogged Drain
Pour boiling water down the drain. Then add a half cup of baking soda and let it sit for a minute. Pour a cup of vinegar and a cup of hot water down the drain. Cover loosely and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Pour another pot of boiling water down the drain to flush out the clog.
If its a bathroom drain, I use a plastic drain snake (Dollar Tree) to get the hair out and then run hot water down it.
Remove cover and clear any thing you can see with a plastic drain cleaner, they are about $5.
Pour 1 cup baking soda in followed by 1 cup white vinegar. Cover and wait 20 minutes.
Boil a pot of water, remove cover, pour boiling water down the drain.
First use a plunger and cover any sources of air that will effect the vacuum you'll be creating with the plunger. You do not want any more air coming into the sink drain system. That action should loosen the clog.
Next if that does not work, add dish soap or shampoo to the drain, really any kind of liquid soap, add very hot water held a distance over the drain hole and pour carefully so you not only get heat, you also get more pressure from the pour. Be careful to hit the drain so there is minimal splashing. I would hesitate to use boiling water because it can melt your plumbing connections under the sink and cause leaks.
From there you could try a snake and finally a plumber to check it out.
Best to you.
I pour vinegar and baking soda down the drain and add hot water. Then I plug up the drain and fill the sink with water so I know it's stopped up completely. By the next morning it's usually clean, unclogged and smells fresh.
Hi Jma, what has worked well for me in my home many times through the years is to dump about a 1/2-1 cup of baking soda into the drain, then add a couple of cups of vinegar. It will fizz for a while and do it's work. Then add some boiling hot water to the drain, repeat if necessary if the drain doesn't clear the first time. Also, you can get a small plastic device with sharp nibs on it to reach into the drain which may be blocked with hair and soap/oils. This is similar to a sewer snake but much smaller and lighter. HOpe this helps with your problem.

Hello. I like the manual barbd reaming tools that help to mechanically removing the obstruction particularly if it’s hair. Dollar tree some time sells them or you can find them in the big box hardware store.
I assume you dont want to use any chemical ... Here are some manual uncloggers

Hello,
Use Vac method - buy a Plumbers Plunger!
Pour baking powder down the drain. Then add the same amount of vinegar, followed by a pan full of boiling water.
You might just need to open up the pipe and clear the clog. Not big deal! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmrzED7u-N0
Can you snake it?
