Hi Beth! TSP is the number one recommended ingredient I've seen for cleaning anything in kitchens at this point. I keep it handy in my own kitchen too, it works amazing on cabinets etc. https://www.bobvila.com/articles/cleaning-with-tsp-trisodium-phosphate/
I use vinegar, water and a little bit of blue Dawn detergent. I don't soak the rag, just dampen it, go over the panels a few times and dry. Works well for me.

Hi! Microfiber cloths work well and are easy to use with hot soapy water.
I use Young Living's Thieves cleaner around my stove
I would use vinegar and a microfiber cloth.

I really like TSP because it does such a great job of cutting the grease.
HELLO,
Use a Steamer and a cloth.
TSP for greasy cleaning, to keep them nice between heavy cleanings use Murphy's Oil soap or Orange Glo.
Wood panels or what kind of panels?
Stove areas have a lot of grease vapor deposits.
I use a commercial degreaser.
I use TSP substitute in a spray bottle mixed with water and a rag. Cleans grease right off with zero effort.
Hi Beth, hope this helps you out,
Use a half cup of laundry detergent mixed with a gallon of warm water in a bucket to clean extremely dirty paneling. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. After drying and cleaning, use the vinegar and mineral oil solution to shine the paneling. Add 20 drops of lemon oil to give your homemade cleanser a fresh scent.

If they are beyond a heavy degreaser try some TSP. https://www.bobvila.com/articles/cleaning-with-tsp-trisodium-phosphate/
