No-Sew Pillowcases
I may or may not have a pillow obsession, but have found that swapping out pillowcases is such a cost-effective option! I had the idea of creating my own, but am not handy with a sewing machine. If you face the same dilemma, have no fear! You can still make some yourself!!
Start with 2 dishtowels slightly larger than your pillows. I am using queen size pillows, but this same method will work for smaller decorative throw pillows as well.
Grab your fabric glue and apply to 3 of the 4 sides, making sure the patterned size of the towels is facing out.
As you glue each side, firmly press them together and you can even secure with clamps until dry. Another great feature with using dishtowels is that they are already hemmed around all the edges!
When you get to the final end, take your velcro and glue it down on each side. I like the velcro option because it holds the pillow in place and is much easier to create than a fancy folded end!
This step is optional, but I love texture so I glued some fringe onto 2 of the 4 sides to fancy it up a bit.
Here's a closeup of how the open end will look with the velcro and fringe. Give your pillowcases a good 24 hours for the glue to completely dry and then insert your pillows.
I'm very happy with how these turned out and best of all, I can remove the pillows, throw the pillowcases in the washer/dryer and the glue holds up perfectly! I recommend using the delicate cycle and velcro the ends together so the fringe doesn't snag. I have done this a couple times and I haven't had any issues!

I’ve tried this but I find that using a hot glue gun keeps the material together for a much longer time.
