How to Remove Wallpaper With a Steam Machine

The very idea of having to remove wallpaper has always had me running into the streets screaming (not literally...but you get the idea). I've always dreaded it! But with my last project, I was able to use the Steam Machine from HomeRight® and I'm happy to say that the idea of removing wallpaper is now, not that horrid! Yeah! To get the full process check it out on the blog: http://www.houseontheway.com/remove-wallpaper-steam/
The dark wallpaper made this small bathroom look even smaller.
The steam machine is easy to use and the steam plate is designed specifically for wallpaper removal.
By placing the steam plate flat against the wall and allowing the steam to hit the paper for 20-30 seconds, you are then able to remove a section of wallpaper that is larger than if you used other methods.
After the wallpaper was removed, I then used the steam machine again to remove the glue left behind.
After the walls were clean, I painted the walls with Alabaster by Sherwin-Williams.
Enjoyed the project?
