Don't Text and Fly! Winner of the SLC Home & Garden Show Door Contest

Created this fun Don't Text & Fly Door Decor. I was asked to decorate one of twelve doors at the SLC Home & Garden Show. My month was October so I decided to do a Halloween theme. My door received the most votes and won! You an see the tutorial on my blog.
Thrift store shoes were spray painted black with orange polka dots and darling ribbon was added for the laces. I glittered the soles of the shoes in black glitter.
One of my favorite dollar store items to use for crafting - the pool noodle. A wood dowel was inserted inside the foam noodle to give it support. As you have probably guessed this was used as the witch legs.

And I bought table legs to make a crashed witch. Your pool noodles idea is great and I love the whole idea right down to the polka dot shoes!
