Unused attic space turned into the Artist's Studio!

Ah, the artist's studio! A place to be creative, spread your wings and ...make a mess! How exciting! Freedom to paint up a storm and dream bigger dreams! But...the space will need to be carved out of empty and unused space first! :) This is the before pic below....
In the beginning...before French doors and hardwood floors!
In my last post (please see that post!) I showed you my husbands Man Cave space. These are the double French doors opposite that space and the Studio to which they connect! Welcome!
My husband and I created this space for me to be able to spread out and paint and design and lay out my projects. I LOVE the 150 year old tobacco barn wood beams! We also installed two skylights - facing North - so I could optimize all that fantastic light to paint by!
My Art Studio also contains flat files on either side of the fireplace, a lay out table and 'mood board' and my built-in bookcase filled with reference materials to spark creativity and design direction...and a vaulted ceiling gives the space room to breathe! :)
It's the perfect spot to showcase and ready my work for shipping! Track light illuminate a hand painted custom Versailles mirror you can see on my website! :) Thank you SO much for stopping by!!!! I look forward to seeing you again soon!
