Macie Frederick on Jan 15, 2015I have some old flat bed pillows, throw pillows and some fabric. I will make one without spending any money. The base is the main expense and using a heavy duty box is easy to get for free. This hassock is very clever.

Jodi Behnke on Feb 25, 2015I love the post! I made one of these for my son and DIL and I used a milk crate (plastic). It worked great! My husband cut a board to put inside for stability too, and I did all else the same, wrapping in batting and covered in fabric.
