Easy DIY Valentine Garland

I picked up this amazing yarn at a yard sale that summer. I don't know how to knit, but it was too fabulous not to pick up. I knew I could do something with it.
That something came when my mom brought me a bag of wooden hearts she picked up at a thrift store for me. She said she knew I could do something with them. She was right.
I stained the wood hearts a dark color and then drilled holes through the sides of each one of them. Then, I strung them on the pink yarn.
I hung this garland on our chevron "hello" sign at our front door. It is simple, but still has Valentine's Day written all over it!
