Birdhouses, greens and pine cones from the yard plus dried hydrangeas sprayed silver were added to the window box ornamental kale. A little bling for the holidays added the final touch. My window boxes are ready for winter!

Barb Rosen on Dec 03, 2012Some varieties seem to dry better than others, Ellen. These are from a hydrangea paniculata and they just dried right on the bush, I cut them off and sprayed them to use in my arrangements.

Valerie on Oct 17, 2014Now why haven't I thought of that? I take my window boxes down for the holidays and living in FL, I certainly could do this and add some battery pack lights. These are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!!
