Vintage Button Wreath

Using my daughter's old bike tire, I made this simple wreath with burlap, twine and buttons. I love how elegant it turned out and plan to leave it up long after Valentine's Day!
I had previously wrapped the burlap around the old tire as part of my Christmas decorations. So I kept that on and added some more embellishments.
The red and white baker's twine was wrapped around the wreath this way and that and hot glued on the back as I went along.
I have a tin full of vintage buttons so I grabbed some that were white and off-white. After laying them on the wreath for placement, I hot glued them into the burlap.
The wreath is currently hanging inside a frame. I used a wide piece of pink burlap ribbon as a hanger because I thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day.
