Other than crafting one of my most favorite things to do is organize! Annnnd when I can combine the two that's even better! :) Today I am so excited to show you how easy it is to have an organized & pretty pantry. So let’s get started!
You only need a few supplies to get started. I found this patterned vinyl at Happy Crafters. You can find tons of different patterns & colors over there. Annnnd it doesn't cost much at all! You'll also need a pair of scissors, and X-ACTO knife & a squeegee or credit card to smooth your vinyl down.
I used 6 sheets of vinyl to do my whole pantry.
This patterned vinyl comes on backing paper. It is sticky on one side. So it is perfect for this project. :)
First you'll trim off the white edges with your scissors.
Then line it up as best you can to the back of your pantry shelf. Smooth is down with the squeegee. You don't want any air bubbles or wrinkles. Smooth it down in one direction. This will help any air bubbles to work themselves out.
Using your squeegee again you can press the vinyl down into the back edge of your shelf
Then use an X-ACTO knife to trim of the excess vinyl. All done! It took me about an hour to do our entire pantry. Not bad! ;)
I love how my new organized & pretty pantry looks! :) It makes me happy to open the door now. ;)
Stop by my blog to see how I added the rolling shelf at the bottom. It was pretty easy to! Just search rolling shelf, & it should pop up.
