Bedroom Quickie Makeover

$110
2 Hours
Easy
How much can you change a bedroom in just a couple of hours? Quite a lot, it turns out, like this bedroom makeover in just two hours.
It all started with this artwork from HomeGoods for under $50. Trellis patterns are kind of my thing. And I love color.
I wanted new bedding to go with the new art. I’m rather fond of duvets, since they are much easier to launder than entire king-sized quilts. So the hunt was on and I found this:
Napkins? What I had in mind was remaking a pillow that was past its prime.
One napkin was all I needed to cover the body of the pillow perfectly. I cut off the corner tassels of the pillow and sewed a simple pillow case.
I already had a super soft blue blanket. I HAD TO HAVE it after touching it, it was that soft.

Ready for the big reveal? Here’s the before, with afternoon light landing on the foot rail:
I love all the color that was added with simple bedding and an inexpensive art piece. To read all the details that went into this two hour makeover, please visit my website http://heartworkorg.com/2014/04/24/2-hour-bedroom-quickie-makeover/.
