DIY Neutral SPRING Garland

I don't plan on doing too much spring decorating, but I did want to add a fun garland above my entry table. After a long cold and snowy winter it was high time to add a bit of color. I use the term "color" lightly, as I tend to lean towards more neutral and cool tones in my home. Lately, I've been on a major black and white kick, so of course those were my go to colors for the garland. So much for color, huh?
I started by painting a few wood pieces with a pretty blue chalk paint. Then using Mod Podge, I glued pieces of scrap book paper to the front then added letters to spell "SPRING"
The addition of a few porcelain bunnies and Dogwood blooms complete this little spring entry table.
I love that it's neutral enough to blend into my everyday decor, but also adds just the right amount of spring to the space.
