I found this old tool box at a church rummage sale for $7.50. While I appreciated the rustic quality of its "as is" state, I decided to paint it to use for summer dinners on the patio.
I cleaned the box thoroughly with an old rag and an all-purpose cleaning spray. The outside received two coats of Graphite paint from Amy Howard, with a few swipes of Martha Stewart's Gunmetal craft paint to maintain the "old tool box" look.
I brightened up the inside with one of my favorite colors, Riviera by Maison Blanche.
Now it's ready for summer picnics!
