Pottery Barn Wall Art Knockoff

As a blogger I am constantly changing out my decor. That being said I don't like to spend a lot of money on decor that will I will be changing out in a few months or sometimes even weeks. I love the high-end look I see in stores and in catalogs, but my budget seldom allows the high-end prices, so I often use my creativity to achieve the same look.
When I saw this wall art on the Pottery Barn website awhile back ... I loved it. I decided I could do it myself though.
I had some leftover wood in the garage from a past project, and I got to work sawing down some boards.

The PB version has more narrow boards, but I figured I would save myself some labor and have a few less. The dimensions I used were 2 ft tall and 18 inches wide.
I knew my hubby could cut me out some letters (he's a bit more experienced on the jigsaw), but I figure why waste the time when I knew Michael's has some precut ones.

They were $3.99 a piece, and I had a 50% off coupon, so a total of $8.

I used wood glue to attach them to my boards.

Then I used flat white spray paint over the whole project.
I'm pretty happy with the results!
