Watering Can Door Hanger
Today I’m sharing this fun new Watering Can Door Hanger I made for our front door. If you know me you know I LOVE changing the wreaths and door hangers on my door and I had always secretly wanted a watering can.
I’m kinda liking it hanging on our front door.
And I LOVE the price best.
Do you remember I shared this green old watering can I found at a thrift store for $1.95 a month or so ago.
Here’s how it was when I found it, a little shabby, and little scuffed up, even a cut on the rim of one side, but lots of potential right? and it was $1.95. I shared it here on Tuesday Treasures 29. I knew it had total potential.
I had this spray paint left from another project. By the way if you haven’t spray painted yet Rust-Oleum is my favorite and it’s fabulous for painting plastic and anything really. It is the primer and paint all in one. (and this isn’t a paid post I’m just telling you how I feel).
My friend had given me this whole bundle of faux peonies that she was getting rid of and I LOVE them.
I added the roses, some faux hydgrangea I had and I grabbed my scrap fabric bag and cut a piece and made a bow for it.
I love wreaths and door hangers and am sharing several more I made on my blog page so come on over. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa
