Curb Alert Dresser Makeover

A neighbor posted this dresser for free on Craigslist. It was boxy, boring, brown and blah. But, I knew I could do something with it. It was solid wood and structurally in good shape. So, I loaded it into my van and away I went.
Here it is all made over.
This dresser was just screaming for some new legs. It originally sat on a platform that I was able to unscrew and remove. I then added 4 new legs to give it some height and style.
I painted it with Old Fashioned Milk Paint in Federal Blue. This paint has a lot of variation and dimension and gives the dresser a rustic coastal feel. I sealed it with General Finishes High Performance topcoat for durability. It also deepens the color of the milk paint.
I added new white rose knobs as the final touch.
