I am always on the lookout for freebies at the end of driveways close to trash day.
I mean, what a great place to pick up wood items.
In this way, I have picked up great things that needed a little love and paint to restore.
I have found bookshelves, moulding, small items and more, including this fabulous spool which I turned into a weathered cool coffee table.

I bought rolling casters at the hardware store. And screws that would work as well.
I only placed them around the edges, because of the holes in the center. I thought that would be plenty and it was. We don’t have anyone sitting on the table, or putting heavy weight on it.
What I love about this table, is if teen feet dirty it up, or someone spills on it, no worries. It’s already shabby and weathered, it goes well in my beach-themed room.
for the full tutorial place stop by.

Oh, my,my,my! This brings back so many memories form the 70s! We had the same size table in our living room. We decoupaged groovy pictures from magazines to the top. All our friends loved it and wanted one like it. And why not? It was far out, man!
great jib! Love it!
