DIY Sea Urchin Succulent Vase

Succulents are gaining popularity. Display some faux succulents using..wait for it....sea urchin vase fillers.
I was inspired to make this set of succulent vases after seeing a photo of a very similar set in an online magazine.
Do these look familiar? I posted a DIY Coastal specimen art that used these vase fillers a few weeks ago. I happen to have two left over and was inspired to make these succulent vases. I first sprayed the sea urchin vase with metallic silver spray paint. You can use any color you'd like. How great would these look in GOLD as well?!
I personally like the silver tone color so that I can keep the pallet a little more neutral.
Slip in your faux succulents and you are all done. This is probably the easiest DIY project ever. You could also insert any other type of faux floral, but I love how the silver and green look together.
You should see these puppies on my Summer Aqua and Yellow Coastal mantel! See them in action here http://www.casawatkins.net/2015/06/aqua-and-yellow-summer-mantel.html
Here is a picture of the faux succulent vases hanging out on a shelf. Thanks for reading this quick tutorial. Let me know what you think about the succulent vases in the comments and visit my blog for new projects.
