I've been eyeing some farmhouse candlesticks using cows as the base but they cost more than I wanted to spend. So when I spied some cows in the toy aisle, I knew I had what I needed for my project!
I love the rustic farmhouse feel that cows add to your decor! There's something so peaceful about them!
So when I spied these cows in the toy aisle, I knew I had what I needed for an easy DIY version of some pricey candlesticks that I had been eyeing. Miss Kitty loves them just as they are...black and white. I wonder why? ;-) But I plan to make some changes.

Love your idea. I have been trying to find toy animals large enough to cut in two and use them as bookends. Your animal candle holder to match would add some extra fun in my home office.
