Thanksgiving Gratitude Tree

This gratitude tree is the perfect holiday craft and reminder for the Thanksgiving holiday season.
Using (2) brown lunch bags, the kids traced different leaf shapes from tin cookie cutters. Carefully cutting each leaf, they then thought of things they felt grateful for...like family, our home...
The kids wrote one item they felt thankful for onto each leaf.
Using autumn themed acorn and pine cone ornaments, we filled the tree.
We added "Thankful statements" on strips of brown lunch bags, cut out to look like banners.
And finally the kids clipped on their leaves to the branches, using miniature clothes pins. This was such a great Thanksgiving display and terrific tool to help remind my children what the season is all about. To see more photos, please visit the blog listed below.
