$100 Little Girl's Room Makeover Reveal!

When my daughter was coming close to outgrowing her toddler bed I knew it was time for a big girl's room! Her room was a labor of love that took many months to complete but in the progress I was able to find some major deals and spend little to nothing to give her a totally new room. Just about everything in the room was a DIY project that me and my daughter did together. For more pictures of the room and to find out how I was able to only spend $100 on this room visit my blog:

Yes, she crashed my photo shoot! But it's fine. I'm glad she's enjoying the space! The nightstand was found on clearance at Target for about $15. The Bed was a spare that was not being used at my in-laws. The headboard was a thrift store that I spray painted for a total of $10.10
I found all the paint in the oops section of Lowe's and Home Depot. The soft pink was found at Lowe's for $5, the colored rectangles were $0.50 a piece. I spent about $15 total for all paint and supplies in her room. For her accent wall I wanted a drawn on look, to give it more of a kid feel. I love how it turned out.
Her gallery wall were a collection of art I gather over time found in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby. The character posters were found at Five Below.
The curtains were also a DIY project. They were originally white that I already had on hand that I used the same oops paint from the accent wall on. Me and my daughter polka dotted the curtain in less than a hour.
The cubbie that was originally holding the TV was placed in her closet for better organization.

What a great bedroom for a young lady! I love what you two did in there, especially the curtains. Really pretty room, and she can be proud that she helped to create it! I am sure it was also great for you both as quality mommy-daughter time.
