Turning A Wardrobe Into A Pantry!

I actually found this wardrobe for free! A lovely elderly couple needed to get rid of it and I was more than happy to take it off of their hands!
Wardrobes vs Armoires! Wardrobes almost always have a bar crossing at least half of the unit in order to hang garments on while armoires only sometimes do. I live in Japan and this thing is called a "Closet."
The wardrobe was free, but I spent $70 on pine wood..LOL!

I planned out what I wanted to store in this before building the shelves. I built a simple "fixed shelf bookcase" and slid it into the wardrobe. I like how it turned out, but wish that I just made stackable wood boxes or crates in different sizes.

I love how it turned out. I love getting a piece of furniture that looks nice and helps organize my home. Especially if it is free.
