What a Difference Painting Old Wood Paneling Makes!

Not to exciting of a DIY, but just want to share what a difference a paint job makes and refinishing the floor!
All the awful dark wood has been paint and the trim turned white. Painted the built in drawers a fun accent color as well and added a ceiling fan
I removed the electric baseboard heaters since we have installed a heat pump now. The built in bookcase is painted a dark blue accent color and the window seat has a cushion now. The floors were also refinished.

Your rooms look great. I agree, if you can't remove the paneling, paint is a great way to transform the room.
