Nail Polish Decorating
5 Minutes
Easy
I wish I had more pictures of the process, but it's so easy, I can tell you just the same.
Just get a bucket you don't want anymore and fill with water. Fill approx how high you want your project to be dipped. Take different color bottles of nail polish and pour, drizzle, swirl, whatever you desire, into the water. DO NOT TOUCH or STIR the water to mix colors. Then dip your vase, planter, whatever into the water and bring back out. Dip until you see the nail polish adhere to the project, then pull back out. Only takes a few seconds because it ADHERES the minute you put item in the water.
It turns out so cool, and on this one I actually used some sparkle nail polish which REALLY put a cool effect on here. If you don't have any white items to use (like this, it was glass to begin with) them spray paint your item with white spray paint (i used glossy), let it dry and then do the project ! Looks so cool, and no two ever come out the same. You can redip again after dry too if you want more of an effect. Personally, if your doing more then one, empty the water out and add new water and nail polish for each project. It seemed to work better for me.
Adding another close up picture so you can see what the SPARKLE nail polish does. Isn't it just so cool. I may be doing this all over my house!!!
Enjoyed the project?
