DIY LEGO Head Marker Holder

LEGO blocks are so much fun to play with, but that doesn't mean that LEGO lovers only want to play with LEGO bricks. Some want to do other things -- like color. That's where this DIY LEGO Head Marker Holder comes in. It looks like a LEGO Head, so it will match with your LEGO fans décor, but it's intended to hold markers, pencils, scissor, etc. so that your fan can tie in LEGO to his or her other interests. It's an easy project to make in an afternoon, and it won't cost you any money if you already have the supplies at home (like an old glass jar to upcycle).

Gather your materials. You'll need a glass jar, black paint, a paint brush, and a can of yellow spray paint.

Spray a light coat of spray paint on the jar. Lighter is better.

Flip it over and spray it again. You may need a couple coats to achieve the yellow you are going for.

Paint the LEGO face using the black paint. If you want to get creative, you can paint a different expression. This one is just the basic, generic face, but let your creativity flow!
