Bottons and Bows Burlap Bunnies

All you need for this project is some heavy cardboard, burlap, white glue and some buttons and bows!
1) Cut out the bunny patterns (you can download them for free from my blog- the link is at the bottom of this tutorial) and then your cardboard.
2) Cut out your burlap a couple if inches LARGER than the pattern and glue the burlap to the cardboard
3) Then on the RIGHT side of your bunny, paint glue around the edge of the burlap as seen in the photo below. Let glue dry.
4) Trim the burlap off as close to cardboard edge as possible. The glue has sealed the edges so you don't get that awful 'burlap fuzz'!
5) Now you can decorate your bunny however you wish. I used scrapbook paper for the tail and ears, a button for the eye and added a ribbon around his neck.
I also bent part of a coat hanger into a stand and hot glued it to the back so they could stand up.
Don't forget to go get the free patterns- they are the right size so you don't have to do anything but print! I also give you some other alternatives to using burlap. I hope you have fun making these cute bunnies!
