Dollarstore Halloween Candy Station and Skeleton Tray!

This year for our annual kids Halloween party I decided to create a candy station! It was easy and fun to prepare! I made two banners using Dollarstore pumpkin sponge cutouts (seen in another post) to decorate the station.
I found these large glass jars at the dollarstore also and thought they would be great for the station!
I picked a variety of Halloween candy to fill the jars including chocolate ghosts, gummy worms and orange pumpkin gumdrops!
I used plastic champagne glasses to display some of the candy to create different levels of display and interest.
I found black measuring cups and thought they would be perfect scoops for the station!
It's important to make sure you ask parents about any nut allergies! If so, make sure all your candy is nut free!!!
The kids loved creating their customized treat bags!
The station was inexpensive and easy to do!
Using free printables, I placed some Halloween signs on the station too! "Witches Fingers, Bat Wings and Frogs Eyes"!
My second Halloween project is a two tiered skeleton tray! Using plastic Dollarstore skeleton heads, I simply glued the heads on top of each other.
A glue gun is needed for this.
I then glued the heads on to the tray. Make sure you place the tray upside down to get it level! It's a little tricky.
Finally!!!! The finished product! It's cute and inexpensive compared to the Halloween tray out there. I may paint the skeletons black?! It's more decorative then functional as it's a little tippy! For more Holiday ideas visit me at my blog!!! Happy Halloween!
