This is a great project to do for the Christmas season. The method of creating this makes it fun and safe for children as well!
Please check out the video, like and share, or you can read the tutorial below. For this project you will need:
E6000 Craft Glue, black marker, any color paint (we like red and white), a small wooden ball, white string, ribbon, wire cutters, scissors, a drill with a 3/16" bit, tinsel, foam paint brush, a wooden skewer, mini pom poms, and a small terra cotta pot.
The first step is to paint the small terra cotta pot, and set it aside to dry.
Use your drill and 3/16" bit and drill a hole in the center of the small wooden ball. Be sure not to drill your fingers or the table.
Next, we put some of the E6000 glue in the hole you just drilled. We cut a 6 inch piece of the white string and push it in to the hole with the glue using the wooden skewer. We set aside the ball so that the glue can dry.
Take your ribbon and fold into a figure eight, just like in the picture above. Cut the ribbon on an angle on one side.
Use another piece of white string to tie your ribbon in the center.
Use the tinsel to form a halo around the top of the wooden ball. Make sure you pull the string through the center. Cut the tinsel with your wire cutters and use the E6000 to glue the halo into place.
Place to dots of E6000 glue on the front of your now dried terra cotta pot. Place the pom poms.
Take the tied ribbon, and make sure you've cut off the excess string. Use the E6000 glue and glue the wings on opposite the pom poms.
With your black marker, draw a face on the wooden ball, just like the one in the video.
Place E6000 glue on the bottom of the wooden ball, and glue the head on the terra cotta pot facing the pom poms.
Now you can hang your angel anywhere, and enjoy your newly made decoration. Merry Christmas and thank you for checking out our post!
