I went with this project as my dear old mother Had dementia and kept buying balls ..as she couldn’t remember buying them so kept buying more to the point we had so many balls we didn’t know what to do with them .so after donating a bunch and using a lot on our tree we still had a lot left over so this is what I did with them
Got everything organised together and I used a lot more balls than pictured I used a lot of old balls we already had and found a few packets of new 1s to. 1st of all remove all the little hanging sting and plug they pull off easy
I sorted through a few colours to get a uneven bunch of shapes and colours
I then started glueing and kept on going randomly working my way through each layer
being careful at all times as I have burnt myself a lot with the glue gun making this :) once I filled the bottom section I moved onto the mid section of my tree
So here we are still flying random balls everywhere filling in any gaps with smaller balls and randomly changing colours to get a better effect
and then ready to stand in place :) I am so happy with how it turned out and I’m sure my Mum would love to know all her balls were put to good use the pictures don’t do it much justice so much better seeing it for real
I hunted through and also found a old bunch of small lights only 24 on the sting but it was perfect for this and now at night it lights up to :) now I’m just going to add a few drops with the glue gun to hold the lights in place and all done
merry xmas everyone :)

Where did you get the tree shaped boxes? Or did you make them yourself? If you made them, what are the dimensions of each section?
