Simple Sled Christmas Ornament

3 Materials
If you have kids, and you live in a snowy part of the world, you'll want a fun and easy craft to keep them entertained on snow days from school. This DIY Sled Christmas ornament is just that project!
Fine, even if you don't have kids, this project is fun, too. Grab a couple of popsicle sticks, glue and whatever you want to use as a hanger. I used a piece of pipe cleaner. Use twine for a more rustic look.
I found a package of muli-colored craft sticks, which is why my sticks are already red. Paint yours if you need to or find out where I got them here.

First, you'll need to glue together three popsicle sticks side by side. Off-set the center one so it sticks a little above the other two. You can either glue the sides together, or what I found easier was to glue a couple of pieces to the back, like so...
Once the glue was dry, I cut all three of them at about the half way point.
Next, I glued two unpainted popsicle sticks on for rails...
Then attached another red piece just wider than the rails, to the front side, near the top of the sled...
Then I glued my hanger, pipe cleaner, to the backside of the little red piece we just attached...
Then once everything was completely dry, we hung it on the tree!
The final step - Have a Merry Christmas!
Suggested materials:
