Baby It's Cold Outside

I have outside cats, that just refuse to come in when the temperatures go below freezing....so I came up with an idea to keep them warm.
I thought that if I could make them a Cat House. I happen to see a cooler and the light came on.
So I cut a hole in the side just big enough for them inside.
I just happen to have an old pillowcase in which I put some cedar chips (was told it helps get rid of fleas and other little creatures) and put a soft little blanket in it.
Next I decided to paint it, but before I could one of them got in to check it out. That would be Missy's leg and tail you see. I had some paint lying around from when I painted a room, just happen to be pink. (HINT) do not use a spray paint it ruins the Styrofoam.
Here is the finished product...what makes it nice is you can easily clean it by taking the top off. Now I will be able to sleep at night knowing they will be warm and dry.

If you put a rubber flap on the door the air would not be blowing into the cat house. We did this to our dogs houses while they lived outside.
