I am sharing my DIY easy wire hoop floral wreath for the nursery today. Have I told you my youngest daughter Emily is expecting her second baby in April?

We are beyond excited to have another granddaughter!

This will make 3 granddaughters and 3 grandsons for us. There is nothing better than being a grandma!

Hoop floral wreaths for the nursery

For this baby girls nursery my daughter and I made some easy wire hoop floral wreaths that will hang above her crib.

I had never made a wreath using a wire hoop so this was new to me. My sister and I ran to Walmart and bought the supplies.

Walmart.com

Supplies from Walmart

2 packages of gold wire hoops 3 to a package

6 bunches lambs ear greenery (they come is sets of 2)

6 bunches lambs ear greenery (they come is sets of 2)

1 bunch of what looks like a white carnation with pink edges

1 bunch of what looks like a white carnation with pink edges

5 bunches of faux soft pink peonies

2 bunches of Ranunculus flower

Or whatever flowers you like.

How to make the hoop floral wreaths

I do like to craft as long as it is easy to do!

This cake stand is by far my easiest craft ever and it looks professional!

To begin this hoop floral wreath, lay out all your flowers by type, your lambs ear and wire.

Grab 4 stems of the lambs ear and put two on one side of the bottom of the wreath.

Attach them to the wire hoop by wiring them on. Start at the top of one of stems and wrap wire over and under kind of hiding it under the leaves.

Layer the second stem over the first stem and wire it on.

Repeat for the other side of the bottom of the wreath

Adding the flowers to the hoop wreath

Once you have the lambs ear on both side of the bottom of the wreath you can start adding in the flowers.

I started with the largest blossoms first. The peonies are so beautiful and fluffy.

Speaking of fluffy have you checked out this super f luffy white wreath I made here?

I hot glued one peony in the middle and then added in three ranunculus blooms.

The great thing about this craft is that you can play around with all the greenery and flowers to create whatever you like.

More pictures and links to exact flowers are all on the blog.
