I would like to share a really easy and pretty good way to preserve Fall leaves. The process I use and recommend is laminating. Actually no laminator needed at all, just fallen leaves, a laminating pouch and an iron.
I did lots of crafts this Fall using the laminating process.
First of all you will need fresh fallen leaves with bright colors. Before laminating it's necessary to make them dry. You may use a traditional method - dry them in a book but it takes time. I recommend a fast way to dry leaves, use an iron!
After the leaves are dry, just put them into a laminating pouch, cover with a copy paper and iron above at medium heat. As a result you will get a nice laminated sheet.
Cut around the leaves leaving a small border of plastic and use them for crafts.
Here is the result of my crafting.
I made a quick video tutorial with all steps, tips and ideas.
Suggested materials:
  • Fallen leaves
  • Laminating pouches
  • Iron
