These adorable little snowmen are made from a Jenga block game. You can also use Dollar Tree Tumbling Towers to make them. I made mine as a shelf sitter, but you can add ribbon to the back to make a hanger for ornaments. This makes a really cute kids craft too!

The Dollar Tree blocks are smaller, but you can use Jenga blocks or even plain wood blocks to make them.

To make them, you will need:

  • Jenga block
  • 3.5 inches of 2.5 inch wide burlap ribbon
  • 5 inches of twine
  • 6 inches of 1/4 inch red ribbon
  • Small red button
  • 2 small brown buttons
  • Scissors
  • White acrylic paint
  • Paint brush
  • Hot glue and a glue gun
  • Black and orange markers

Start by painting the block white with acrylic paint. Let dry.

Cut the burlap. Apply a dot of hot glue to one end of the block. Attach one end of the burlap to the glue. Then wrap the burlap around the block and glue down the other edge. Then die with a piece of twine to create the hat. Add a red button to the hat.

Add a dot of glue to the middle of the back of the snowman. Center the ribbon on the glue. Then wrap the ribbon around the block and tie it for the scarf.

Add buttons below the scarf ribbon.

Use markers to draw on a face.

This is an easy craft for kids to make too! Have them sign the back and gift to teachers for a fun teacher gift.
